Painting, opaque watercolour and gold on paper, depicting Prince Kanju Ram and attendants. The ruler, from the fiefdom of Isarda in Rajasthan, is leaning against a bolster and smoking a huqqa. A servant with a morchhal stands behind him, and six nobles with swords and shields, also holding flowers, sit facing him. In a lower register, eight other servants and nobles also sit or stand in attendance, several of them holding flowers. Verdigris background in the upper, and paler, in the lower register; red border.
Kanju Ram is now thought to be an Isarda prince; he appears in a genealogy of the Jhalai and Isarda families.
