The Cleveland Museum of Art, Gift of Mrs. John Sherwin 1951.300 Wedgwood's tricolor jasperware first became popular in the 1770s during a period of fascination with neoclassical decoration. This vase was probably made around 1850 during the period when this type of decoration was revived.
