Born 24 October 1903. Charlotte Perriand studied design at the Ecole de l'Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, France, from 1920 to 1925. From 1927 to 1937 she directed her own interior design firm in Paris. Charlotte Perriand was an associate in charge of furniture and fittings at the studio of Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret in Paris, France, from 1927 to 1937.
