Under Neri, the family's workshop was highly successful and productive. The details of its activity, including the names of the many pupils and assistants that spent time there, are recorded in the Ricordanze, a workshop diary (for 1453 to 1475) that is the most extensive surviving document relating to a 15th-century painter.
