Moser, Koloman
Austrian painter, printmaker, 1868-1918
Austrian graphic artist, designer, and painter in Vienna worked in both the fine and applied arts. He created paintings, illustrations, furniture, jewellery, posters and postage stamps. He was a student at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Vienna, then at the college of applied arts, where he subsequently taught from 1899. He was one of the founders of the Viennese Secession and the Wiener Werkstätte. Comment on works: genre; portrait
