Brazilian painter and engraver, born 1960
Milhazes graduated in social communication from the Faculdade Hélio Alonso, Rio de Janeiro. Her career started at the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage, where she further lectured. Besides painting she also works with engraving and collage, obtaining international recognition from the 1990s.
