Lyte, Farnham Maxwell
British or French photographer, 1828-1906
Lyte left London, England in 1852 and settled in Pau in south-western France, and in 1855 set up a studio at Bagnères-de-Bigorre. All known pictures by Lyte are of the Pyrénées region of France. Lyte was a founding member of the Société française de photographie in 1854.
