In her large-scale installations, Hiller uses sculpture, painting, sound, video, photography, drawing, and sound to engage social, anthropological, and feminist concerns; Hiller is also interested in questioning traditional artistic notions of authorship, subject-matter, and methodology. Important works are "Dedicated to the Unknown Artists" (1972-1976), "Monument" (1980-1981), and "Belshazzar's Feast, the Writing on your Wall" (1983-1984). British artist, born in the U.S.
