Born 27 March 1956. In 1980, Borowiec established himself as a freelance public relations photographer in New York City, New York. From 1982 to 1983, Borowiec taught photography at the New School for Social Research, New York City. In 1983, Borowiec became an instructor of photography at Parsons School of Design, New York City.
