Painting depicting two pale women in court dress attending to a seated man with dark skin, who holds a gold basin. One woman applies a sponge to his skin while the other pours water over his head from a golden vessel. Inscribed in ink variously in German, most of which is unintelligible. The inscription at the bottom roughly translates to "Some carry loyalty in their mouths; that is enough for me. Others pretend to be loyal but deceive, because they laugh when they should weep."
