Painting, in opaque watercolour on paper, depicting emaciated travellers. A party of three travellers is proceeding by a stream. One is mounted on a shrunken pony. A thin youth gathers the pony's crimson dung; an emaciated dog precedes the pony. The ducks, cranes and goldfish, disporting in the water, are perhaps a later addition.
