Large Bowl with Molded Decoration, 1300s–1400s. China, Zhejiang province, Longquan kilns, Ming dynasty (1368-1644). Porcelaneous stoneware; overall: 15.1 x 42 cm (5 15/16 x 16 9/16 in.). The Cleveland Museum of Art, Nancy F. and Joseph P. Keithley Collection Gift 2020.188 Longquan celadon, or greenware, was often fired in dragon kilns, a type of narrow, sloped brick tunnel that could fire up to 25,000 pieces at a time.
