The Cleveland Museum of Art, Gift of Frederick, Tina, and Zoe Zwegat 2004.227 A painter from Kōchi trained in Tokyo, Yamamoto Shōun often had works in the prestigious Ministry of Education Exhibition (Bunten) and Imperial Exhibition (Teiten).
