Glazed porcelain with molded decoration, Longquan ware; diameter: 12.6 cm (4 15/16 in.); overall: 7.1 cm (2 13/16 in.). The Cleveland Museum of Art, Bequest of Mrs. Severance A. Millikin 1989.284 In East Asian art, peonies traditionally symbolize prosperity and wealth.
