Porcelain; diameter: 37.8 cm (14 7/8 in.); overall: 45.1 cm (17 3/4 in.). The Cleveland Museum of Art, John L. Severance Fund 1987.196 Despite its removable cover and form in the shape of a storage jar, this work was designed to be purely decorative and not functional at all.
