Inscription: Collar: O Merciful One, O Benevolent One, have mercy on Thy wea[k] servant! [O] Thou who art nearer to me than my [ju]gular vein, have mercy on me! Inscription: Sleeves: Top small band: I seek refuge in Thy magnanimous countenance from the evil of this world and the next, from the evil of all pains, and from the evil of every creeping thing whose forelock Though seiz... Remark: The inscription on the sleeves continues on the bottom small band. Inscription: Bottom small band (continues top one): ...est. Verily, my Lord is on a straight road. And I seek refuge in Thee from every evil and shame of this world and from the punishment of the next. Inscription: Middle Band (large): Good fortune, prosperity, dominion, joy, felicity, and honor. Inscription: Diagonal Bands: O Thou Who possessest majesty and Who bestowest honor! Protect me from evil things, exalt my station by Thy help, and make me fortunate! Inscription: Inscriptions on the back:
