Cup and Stand, 1100s. China, Jiangxi province, Jingdezhen, Southern Song dynasty (1127-1279). Porcelain with pale bluish-white glaze, qingbai ("blue-white") ware; diameter: 4.9 x 10.5 cm (1 15/16 x 4 1/8 in.); overall: 4.8 cm (1 7/8 in.); stand: 14 cm (5 1/2 in.). The Cleveland Museum of Art, Gifts of Laurence H. Norton, Robert G. Norton, and Mrs. Miriam Norton White in memory of Mr. and Mrs. D. Z. Norton; Mrs. A. S. Chisholm; Horace E.
