Miniature Vase with Birds and Chrysanthemums, 1736–95. China, Jiangxi province, Jingdezhen kilns, Qing dynasty (1644-1911), Qianlong mark and reign (1736-95). Porcelain with famille rose overglaze enamel decoration; diameter of mouth: 2.1 cm (13/16 in.); overall: 9.5 cm (3 3/4 in.). The Cleveland Museum of Art, Severance and Greta Millikin Collection 1964.206.1 Green, pink, lavender, light lemon yellow, blue, and brown enamels were skillfully applied to this miniature vase.
