Gum tempera, ink, and gold on paper; image: 12.4 x 11 cm (4 7/8 x 4 5/16 in.); overall: 34.6 x 22.9 cm (13 5/8 x 9 in.). The Cleveland Museum of Art, Edward L. Whittemore Fund 1945.171 Battles were waged to the sound of horns and the beat of drums on camels.
