Amphora Vase, 1723–35. China, Jiangxi province, Jingdezhen, Qing dynasty (1644-1911), Yongzheng mark and period (1723-35). Porcelain with celadon glaze; overall: 52.1 cm (20 1/2 in.). The Cleveland Museum of Art, The Elisabeth Severance Prentiss Collection 1944.190 The shape of the vase derives from Greece and was introduced to China via the Middle East.
